Keyword cloud
Many people are using tag cloud or keyword clouds these days. Many
websites provide free tools to create these clouds, the keyword cloud
is basically a visual representation of key words on a web site. The
keyword cloud illustrates the keyword density using varying font sizes
to depict the frequency the words that appear on the web site. The
larger the word is the more often it will be showing up on the web
page. Color can also be used to determine the importance of the keywords.
The more important a keyword the darker the word will show up on the screen.
Keyword density is an optimal way to obtain an advantageous search engine
ranking on Google, Yahoo or MSN. Keyword density is measure by the number
of times a word appears on the page divided by the number of words on the
page. Some search engine optimizers may try different tricks such as
repeating the same phrase over and over again on the same page. Another
trick that has been tried is to just type two words on the page but
Google will catch onto these tricks and give your web site a lower
page ranking.
The keyword cloud can also be known as a “tag cloud”, and is traditionally
known as a weighted list in the field of visual design. These content
tags are used on the website. They are usually displayed in alphabetic
order. The visual image of the web page is based on the way that a
search engine “views” the page. It is generally best to use the keywords
on the beginning of the page. After that the key words should be used
throughout the site to increase your rankings.
The higher the page ranking that your law firm has, the easier it is
for those individuals to find your firm and contact you.
