General Manager (Projects) - PMO - UK. Reporting to CEO
Salary: Negotiable + (Company will sponsor Work Permits for the Right Candidate)
WebExcel Solutions is calling for proven high caliber Managers for this very challenging
role carrying European Wide Remit. You must have a thorough understanding of business
practices, you have experience of operating in a software house / IT consultancy
space which is customer focused. You must have the confidence to communicate at
all levels. You are highly organised and have strong administrative skills. You
will also be responsible for the day-to-day co-ordination and management of projects.
You will be able to deliver against deadlines and work under pressure.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities :
- Lead complex, multidisciplinary, multi-track IT/Business solution projects and/or
programs.
- Time and budget allocation, scoping, quality and risk management and client relationship-management.
- Overall resource planning, problem resolution and progression of the work program.
- Provide structure and supervision to project teams to ensure maximum performance.
- Management of the governance and control processes including risk and issue management,
progress reporting, change control.
- Provide continuous contribution to enhance and strengthen our Delivery Approach.
- You will be responsible for day to day management of the projects resources to ensure
tasks are implemented on time, on budget and to the required scope and quality.
- Accountable to develop, cultivate, and maintain strong client relationships at senior
level.
- You will be responsible for the UK office operations and for it to be an independent
profit centre.
- You will be in-charge to form liaisons and strategic partnerships and enter new
geographies like Scandinavia and Mainland Europe.
- The role will encompass meeting new prospects, assessing their requirements, providing
them with technical solutions and commercial proposals.
- Develops case studies on clients' business and produce white papers based on use
of new technology.
- Contractual negotiations and customer relationships during negotiation phase. Including
reviewing contract drafts and redrafts.
- Provide commercial sign off on SoW, ensuring compliance with customer requirements
and consistency with commercial deal response.
- Ensure SoW are consistent with contract, are commercially approved and any back
to back agreements are in place.
