The SEM Executive is a challenging and rewarding position to support the efforts
of the search engine optimization team. Responsibilities will include working closely
with the SEO Strategy head and assisting the SEO team in production, implementation,
and development of search engine optimization services.
He/She will need to work very closely with the link building team within the overall
SEO strategy. Detailed and comprehensive reports are produced for tracking and analyzing
all SEO activities.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities :
*Site Assessment Reports : Auditing clients' website and detailing metrics like
index status, total backlinks and search engine positioning.
*Undertake effective link building and reporting.
Define deliverables and target goals for each activity in the SEO process.
*Coordinates with third party vendors and/or client IT professionals and internal
development team to resolve any technical issues.
*Ensure ongoing competitiveness in the search engine marketing space and the candidate
will need to stay abreast of new technologies in the SEO and SEM space.
Track, monitor and report on regular progress on clients web sites.
*Learn and utilize SEO tools and software to monitor search engine rankings, and
perform keyword research using tools such as WordTracker, Keyword Max, Web Position
Gold, or similar.
*Learns and utilize web log analyzers and In-house tracking software along with
industry software to analyze web logs.
*Performs other SEO-related duties as assigned.
