The Challenge
|

• As the site was already indexed incorrectly the challenge was to get the
corrected URLs indexed again in the major search engines. |

• The list was keywords and link building had to be rectified.
|
|
|
|
• The site had to perform better in SERPs within a tight budget and timeline. |

The Solution
|
|
• The SEO and Development teams were briefed simultaneously on various aspects
of the site which needed improvement. |

• While the new landing pages were being designed the SEO team did a site health
check to identity the problem areas. |
|
|
|
• Corrective measures were made to rectify the problem areas. |
|
|
|
• More content and landing pages were needed to increase site standing and
credibility and PR
|

|
• A link exchange campaign was put in place and efforts were made to get good
inbound one way links. |

|
• Proper 301 Redirects were used for old indexed pages which no longer were
present on site. |

The Results
|

• Within 6 months the incorrect pages were removed from the indexes |
|
|
|
• New landing pages were indexed within 3 weeks on all major search engines.

|
|
• Improvements were seen in the ranks within 4 months of the SEO process. |

• As of March 2008 80% of all Keywords were on page 1 of all major search engines
across various data centers. |
